Jen Was Here

I haven’t been here in a week. I’ve actually taken a bit of a break from the social networking, too.

Nothing much has been going on since I last updated.

I bailed from work about an hour early on Saturday and haven’t been back. I don’t have to be back until 7:30AM on the 13th. Luckily I only have a handful of those early morning shifts left before I get something new. Keep your fingers crossed that I get the top choices I “bid” on. :)

Sunday was spent with Steelo trying to find a decent rental house or duplex. In hindsight, we probably made it more difficult than it should’ve been. Wished way too many times that we were old enough to be accepted into a retirement community. Not even kidding. Aside from being totally exhausting, it wasn’t a bad day. We ended up sitting down to watch the last couple of episodes of Friday Night Lights. I may or may not have cried twice. I freaking love Coach Eric and Tami Taylor. Love.

I spent the past couple of days lounging around and reading. I finished two of the four books that have been sitting on my headboard half-read for months.

Tomorrow I gotta hit the grocery store to grab a few things for the Thanksgiving-in-August dinner a few friends have planned this weekend. I’m not going to elaborate on that any more right now. If you’re not coming, you should be jealous.

What else? Err…I watched Tangled this morning. Pretty much loved it. Thinking I’ll go see Crazy, Stupid, Love sometime in the next two days. Or the Glee movie.

This is riveting blogging, huh? Okay. I’ll cut you loose after one last thing: It’s August 10th…which means LESS THAN A MONTH til my favorite month ever and my birthday. :D
